| We are pleased to announce the availability of the CME e-Commerce Portal web site (CME Portal) for short to CME Clearing Member Firms. The CME Portal is a secure Internet web site where users can link to other web sites and access a variety of information, such as CME online applications, documentation, etc. The following applications are currently available via the Portal: - 3270 applications, including TES, GUS,ATOM, GAINS, etc
- Document Direct (Infopac via the Internet)
- Clearing 21 applications
- Exchange Fee System (EFS)
- Additional applications like Front End Clearing (FEC) and FirmSoft will be included on the site in the near future
The site enables users to complete their daily processing like entering trades in TES, accepting GUS trades, and viewing their daily variations in Clearing 21 Settlement, etc. The objective is to provide access to the CME Online Applications from any location that can connect to the Internet, like a remote office, home, or on the road during travel. In our goal, to make all CME clearing and non-clearing applications available on the Internet, the Portal has been designed as onestop-shop for our user community. To access the Portal, users should have a valid CME 3270/Clearing 21 id and must be registered on the site. Users should complete an on-line access form to apply for access. The form can be either downloaded from the Client Management pages; see link: http://www.cme.com/files/s_onlineaccess.pdf on the CME web site, or by calling the Customer Support Group (312) 930-3444. Please allow 24 hours for processing.
